11/28/2008This old-fashioned event draws upon the community spirit of Ashe County residents, neighbors, friends and visitors to come together on the Back Street of West Jefferson and participate in a ceremony that culminates in the lighting of the community Christmas Tree. Santa arrives in an old-time fire truck with goodies for all the good girls and boys, hot chocolate is served and carols are sung during the festivities! Come join us during this most meaningful of ceremonies during the Holiday season.
