51st NC Mineral, Gem & Jewelry Festival

Rockhounds from around the world gather at this 'gem' of a festival in the North Carolina mountain community of Spruce Pine in Mitchell County. Browse through wide aisles of jewelry, as mineral and gem dealers from around the country offer their beautiful wares for sale. There's plenty of parking and free shuttle buses to get you around, so plan to stay for awhile and enjoy gem faceting demonstrations, historic mining exhibits, and plenty of food, all in a comfortable, air-conditioned environment.
We're celebrating 51 years of opening up Nature's Treasure Chest, so come on up to the mountains of Spruce Pine and check us out. Admission is just three dollars a person, so bring the whole family!
